Faith Wildlife Research
The Faith Ranch, the Wesley West family, and Stuart W. Stedman
are committed to the support of scientific research of the white-tailed
deer. From 1985 to 1997 Professor Charles DeYoung at the Caesar
Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, the research arm of Texas
A&M University - Kingsville - conducted several research projects
on the Faith Ranch. These projects produced 3 masters degree biologists
and one Ph.D. in wildlife science. The research at the Faith Ranch
will contribute to a greater understanding of the management and
production of white-tailed deer.
